At Homelift Experts, we are to here to provide you with practical help and guidance in order that you can find the right home lift for you. If you are looking for a home lift which is remarkably flexible and easy to install then we recommend the Stiltz Home Lift as these are perfect for everyday living. With one of the smallest footprints on the marketplace, the possibilities are endless.

FLEXIBLE DESIGN

The Stiltz Home Lift is built in modular sections, which means it can be transported and delivered easily to your home with low ceilings and doorways posing no problem. It is also freestanding, so it does not need to be located against a supporting wall, and it travels on self-supporting rails from floor to floor.

It is powered by a motor discreetly located in the lift lid and plugs straight into a domestic socket, so does not require hydraulics, a machine room, pit or shaft, meaning no need to find extra space, move pipework or re-route electrics. The only piece of work required to be carried out by a professional builder is a small hole in the ceiling for the lift to glide ‘through the floor’. The rest of your home, remains unaltered and just as you always had it before.

HOW MUCH SPACE WILL A STILTZ HOME LIFT NEED?

With a compact footprint of less than a square metre (0.62m2), the Stiltz Home Lift will comfortably fit in almost any space in the home. This also makes the Stiltz lift a great choice for medium-sized to smaller-sized properties where floor space is extra precious.

WHAT ARE THE CONFIGURATIONS I CAN CONSIDER?

The Stiltz team can fit the lift virtually anywhere in the home, but some of the popular configurations are lounge to bedroom, hall to landing, cupboard to cupboard (for maximum discretion), in the turn of a staircase or even from a conservatory up to a mezzanine. The options are almost endless.

Some Stiltz customers have even had the lift up from a lower level garage to the first floor, or the first floor to a roof terrace.

DO I REQUIRE PLANNING PERMISSION TO INSTALL A DOMESTIC LIFT?

No. It is very straightforward. All you need to get is a standard building notice application An authorised independent body will come and inspect the project during the building phase and the whole process will be managed by your Stiltz installation team.
