Regain the freedom of independently moving around your home; travel upstairs and down smoothly, at the touch of a button. This is the pleasure that can be experienced when you invest in the stylishly elegant Lifton Home Lift.
What makes the Lifton Home Lift so great.
The Lifton Home Lift offers two models – the larger of which will accommodate a full-sized wheelchair. Both domestic lifts offer uncompromising solutions to accessibility around the home using smart technology balanced with intelligent design.
Plug and play
A Lifton Home Lift doesn’t require complicated external motors. It plugs into a domestic power socket
Self-supporting
No need to drill into your walls – a Lifton domestic lift is completely self-supporting
Built-in drive system
There are no visible hoists with Lifton domestic lifts. Discreet wire cables are concealed within the rails.
Fast installs
Lifton domestic lifts are modular and requires minimal construction work. It can even install in less than a day in most instances.
Free in-home consultations
We’ll come to you. Once we’ve had an initial meeting, we can arrange for you to view an existing customer’s home lift.
Space-saving
There are multiple placement options as Lifton Home Lift take up floorspace of only 0.8m2
Flexible placement options
The real beauty of a Lifton Home Lift is that you can position it in so many different locations. Most people chose the standard ‘sitting room to bedroom’ configuration, but you can also travel from downstairs hallway to upstairs landing or, for instance, from your garage to the ground floor. Space permitting, why not make use of the void in the turn of your staircase? Others chose to hide their Lifton away behind cupboard doors (though we can’t think why).
Stylishly compact
The lift car of the Lifton Home Lift is made from clear structural polycarbonate which means it is both robust, hardwearing, easy to maintain and elegant. The supporting rails are lightweight and extremely strong. All metalwork is coloured an elegant soft grey and is designed to compliment both traditional and contemporary interiors. Think of a Homelift as an upgrade to your home.
Simple to use
Lifton Home Lifts are so easy to use. There is a single control panel inside the lift car with an up button and a down button. The controls are ‘hold to run’; this means when you release the button the lift stops. We chose this as it gives customers maximum control over the lift’s functionality. Each installation comes with 2 remote control handsets as standard, but there is the option to buy addition remotes if required.

Can a home lift help me stay in my home for longer?
Absolutely. The home lift is specifically designed for those who wish to ‘futureproof’ their homes to enable them to continue to live in the homes they love for as long as possible.
My house isn’t very big, does the home lift get in the way?
Not at all. It can be positioned discreetly in a corner and it takes up very little room. Once the lift is on a floor other than the one you’re on, the only clue to the lift being in your home are two slim, parallel rails.
Do I need planning permission?
No. A standard building notice application is all that is needed. We organize this on your behalf. If you live in a listed property you may require Listed Building Consent, but we can advise on this individually once our consultant visits.
How long after I place my order can I have my lift installed?
A typical timeframe is between 6 to 8 weeks but in special circumstances we can shorten that timeframe.
Can I take my home lift with me if I move?
You can take your home lift with you, it is as easy to uninstall as it is to install.
What type of lift door do you recommend?
The Lifton Home Lift comes with either a full-height door or a half-height door, the choice is yours. If you opt for a half-height door, we install a light curtain which offers safety protection; should someone or something break the light curtain, the lift stops immediately until the obstruction is removed.
Can I use my home lift at night?
The Lifton Home Lift has attractive, contemporary internal LED lighting for ease of use at night time.
Why do I need a survey?
The survey is important as this is the time we can work with you to determine the best place for the home lift. This is not just based on aesthetics but on practical issues such as accessibility, structural factors, power availability and safety.
What is the cost of a Lifton Home Lift?
All costs are provided individually as each home and each installation is unique. However, it’s important to note that all our costs include standard aperture preparation work and cover a basic installation as well as the cost of the lift itself.
